I work at the intersection of Machine learning and Data analysis.
I worked for three years as a Postdoc at Tandon School/NYU, building end-to-end action recognition pipelines for Augmented Reality, techniques of Explainable AI across vision, language (LLMs), and tabular models, and a framework for Urban Science.
I worked with researchers from VIDA lab, under supervision of professor Claudio Silva.
During my graduation in Computer Science, I developed predictive models and visualization frameworks to support the identification and exploration of animal species recorded in the wild, helping soundscape analysis.
I conducted these research in a program from ICMC/USP, working with researchers from VICG lab (currently GIVA), under supervision of professor Rosane Minghim (Masters and PhD) and professor Moacir Ponti (PhD).
I hold a bachelor's in Computer Science from UESB.
Besides, I worked as a technical expert on a research project at ICMC/USP, also creating material and tools to explore animal sounds, and worked for 6+ years with development of healthcare systems (medical laboratory, specialized clinic, and hospital).
