I am a researcher at Tandon School of Engineering/NYU, developing tools for Data Analysis. I work with researchers from VIDA and am supervised by professor Cláudio Silva. During my Masters (supervised by Rosane Minghim) and my Doctorate (supervised by Moacir Ponti e Rosane Minghim) in Computer Science, I developed deep learning models as well as visualization techniques to explore and identify animal species recorded in natural environments and perform soundscape analysis. I conducted this research in a program from ICMC/USP, working with researchers in Visualization, Imaging, and Computer Graphics lab (VICG) (currently GIVA). Besides, I hold a bachelor's in Computer Science from the State University of Southwestern Bahia(UESB). I worked as a technical expert in a research project from ICMC/USP, creating support material and developing computational tools to explore and understand the sounds of animal species. Moreover, I worked for 6+ years with medical systems.
